LORI LYNN LAPATKA

MUSICIAN

Lori LaPatka is a saxophonist and songwriter from Southern California who continues to have an expansive music career. She received both her Bachelor of Music and Master of Performance (Saxophone) with teaching certification degrees from Loyola University, New Orleans, along with a Master of Educational Leadership degree from LSU-Shreveport. She has recorded and performed alongside Shaun Martin, Terrence Blanchard, Mystikal, Justo Almario, and many more. Additionally, her playing can be heard on the documentary Making Black America: Through the Grapevine (PBS). Lori is also a current member of the New Leviathan Oriental Foxtrot Orchestra, Marina Orchestra, and B Street Bennys.
